RayHitTestResult Class

Represents the result of a hit test along a ray.

The RayHitTestResult type exposes the following members.

![]() | DistanceToRayOrigin | Gets the distance between the hit intersection and the inner coordinate space of the Visual3D which initiated the hit test. |

If a ray hits a MeshGeometry3D, you can cast to an instance of RayMeshGeometry3DHitTestResult to get even more detailed information about the intersection.
