KeyEventArgs.IsRepeat Property

Gets a value that indicates whether the keyboard key referenced by the event is a repeated key.

public bool IsRepeat { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the key is repeated; otherwise, false. There is no default value.

The following example checks whether the key associated with an instance of KeyEventArgs is a repeated key by obtaining the state of the IsRepeat property.

// e is an instance of KeyEventArgs.
// btnIsRepeat is a Button.
if (e.IsRepeat)
    btnIsRepeat.Background = Brushes.AliceBlue;
