SemanticType Enumeration

Specifies the semantic types used in defining an annotation.

Member nameDescription
NoneSignifies the absence of the semantic type.
UnderlineA straight line segment used to annotate text with a horizontal line beneath it.
StrikethroughA straight line segment used to annotate text by drawing a line through it.
HighlightA highlight demarcating the underlying object in order to bring it to the attention of the reader.
ScratchOutA wavy line segment used for annotation.
VerticalRangeA vertical range consisting of one or more ink strokes spanning across multiple lines.
CalloutA callout consisting of one or more ink strokes connecting two objects. A callout draws attention to a portion of a text or drawing, usually accompanied by a line pointing to the particular area.
EnclosureAn enclosure consisting of one or more ink strokes that encircle a text, image, or ink area which are used for emphasizing purposes.
CommentNot available.
ContainerA container consisting of one or more ink strokes that comprise a standard shape.
ConnectorA connector consisting of one or more ink strokes used to connect two objects.
