ContextLink Class
Represents a relationship between two ContextNode objects that is not a parent-child relationship.
Assembly: IAWinFX (in IAWinFX.dll)
Examples of the relationship represented by a ContextLink relationship include:
A ParagraphNode that is encircled by an InkDrawingNode. A ContextLink object is created and added to the Links properties of both the ParagraphNode and the InkDrawingNode. The InkDrawingNode is the SourceNode and the ParagraphNode is the DestinationNode.
An AnalysisHintNode and a WritingRegionNode. When an AnalysisHintNode is used in ink analysis, a ContextLink is created between the WritingRegionNode and the AnalysisHintNode. The AnalysisHintNode is the SourceNode and the WritingRegionNode is the DestinationNode.
Two InkDrawingNode objects where a line is drawn between them, as in a flow chart.
To determine the relationship between SourceNode and DestinationNode uses the InkDrawingNode.SemanticType or WritingRegionNode.SemanticType property on the appropriate node.
The following example finds all the nodes that are linked to the ContextNode named selectedNode. If selectedNode is not a destination node, the destination node is added to an ArrayList named destinationNodes. If selectedNode is not the source node, it is added to an ArrayList named sourceNodes.
Dim destinationNodes As New ArrayList() Dim sourceNodes As New ArrayList() ' Find all the nodes that link to the currently selected node. Dim link As ContextLink For Each link In selectedNode.Links If link.DestinationNode <> selectedNode Then destinationNodes.Add(link.DestinationNode) End If If link.SourceNode <> selectedNode Then sourceNodes.Add(link.SourceNode) End If Next link
The following example finds all WritingRegionNode objects in the node tree of an InkAnalyzer named theInkAnalyzerWithHint. It then puts those that are linked to an AnalysisHintNode with a Factoid of "IS_DATE_FULLDATE" into a ContextNodeCollection, named writingRegionsWithFactoids.
Dim writingRegionsWithFactoids As New ContextNodeCollection(Me.theInkAnalyzerWithHint) Dim allWritingRegions As ContextNodeCollection = Me.theInkAnalyzerWithHint.FindNodesOfType(ContextNodeType.WritingRegion) Dim writingRegion As WritingRegionNode For Each writingRegion In allWritingRegions ' See if they are linked to any factoid Dim link As ContextLink For Each link In writingRegion.Links If link.SourceNode.Type = ContextNodeType.AnalysisHint Then Dim hint As AnalysisHintNode = CType(link.SourceNode, AnalysisHintNode) If hint.Factoid = "IS_DATE_FULLDATE" Then writingRegionsWithFactoids.Add(writingRegion) End If End If Next link Next writingRegion
