VisualStyleElement.ExplorerBar.NormalGroupBackground Class
Provides a VisualStyleElement for the background of a common group of items in the Explorer Bar. This class cannot be inherited.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
The Normal property of the VisualStyleElement.ExplorerBar.NormalGroupBackground class gets a VisualStyleElement that represents the background of a common group of items in the Explorer Bar, such as the File and Folder Tasks group in Windows Explorer.
Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 Platform Note: Visual styles are supported only on these platforms.
The following code example demonstrates how to create a VisualStyleRenderer with the VisualStyleElement returned by the Normal property. To run this example, paste it into a Windows Form. Handle the form’s Paint event and call the DrawVisualStyleElementExplorerBarNormalGroupBackground1 method from the Paint event-handling method, passing e as PaintEventArgs.
Public Sub DrawVisualStyleElementExplorerBarNormalGroupBackground1(ByVal e As PaintEventArgs) If (VisualStyleRenderer.IsElementDefined( _ VisualStyleElement.ExplorerBar.NormalGroupBackground.Normal)) Then Dim renderer As New VisualStyleRenderer _ (VisualStyleElement.ExplorerBar.NormalGroupBackground.Normal) Dim rectangle1 As New Rectangle(10, 50, 50, 50) renderer.DrawBackground(e.Graphics, rectangle1) e.Graphics.DrawString("VisualStyleElement.ExplorerBar.NormalGroupBackground.Normal", _ Me.Font, Brushes.Black, New Point(10, 10)) Else e.Graphics.DrawString("This element is not defined in the current visual style.", _ Me.Font, Brushes.Black, New Point(10, 10)) End If End Sub
