UpDownBase::OnTextBoxTextChanged Method (Object^, EventArgs^)

Raises the TextChanged event.

Namespace:   System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

virtual void OnTextBoxTextChanged(
	Object^ source,
	EventArgs^ e

Type: System::Object^

The source of the event.

Type: System::EventArgs^

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnTextBoxTextChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnTextBoxTextChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnTextBoxTextChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
