UpDownBase.OnTextBoxResize Method

Raises the Resize event.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

protected virtual void OnTextBoxResize(
	Object source,
	EventArgs e
)

Parameters

source
Type: System.Object

The source of the event.

e
Type: System.EventArgs

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

This method adjusts the size of the spin box (also known as an up-down control) when the text box portion of the control is resized.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnTextBoxResize method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnTextBoxResize in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnTextBoxResize method so that registered delegates receive the event.
