Represents the method that will handle the TypeValidationCompleted event of the MaskedTextBox control.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
'Declaration Public Delegate Sub TypeValidationEventHandler ( _ sender As Object, _ e As TypeValidationEventArgs _ ) 'Usage Dim instance As New TypeValidationEventHandler(AddressOf HandlerMethod)
Parameters
- sender
- Type: System.Object
The source of the event.
- e
- Type: System.Windows.Forms.TypeValidationEventArgs
A TypeValidationEventArgs that contains the event data.
The TypeValidationCompleted event of the MaskedTextBox class is an optional event that is raised only if the ValidatingType property is explicitly set to a type other than Nothing.
Typically, a handler for the TypeValidationCompleted event is implemented to perform mask-specific and type-specific validation processing. In contrast, general validation is typically performed in the standard Validating event defined in the Control base class.
