ToolStripItem::OnOwnerFontChanged Method (EventArgs^)
.NET Framework (current version)
Raises the FontChanged event when the Font property has changed on the parent of the ToolStripItem.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Use the OnOwnerFontChanged method to notify inheritors of the Font property that the font has changed.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnOwnerFontChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnOwnerFontChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnOwnerFontChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
