ToolStripButton.AutoToolTip Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether default or custom ToolTip text is displayed on the ToolStripButton.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if default ToolTip text is displayed; otherwise, false. The default is true.

Set the AutoToolTip property to false to display custom ToolTipText on a ToolStripItem.

The following code example turns off the automatic ToolTip text for a ToolStripButton and sets custom ToolTipText.
