ToolStrip.OnItemRemoved Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Raises the ItemRemoved event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in

protected internal virtual void OnItemRemoved (
	ToolStripItemEventArgs e
protected void OnItemRemoved (
	ToolStripItemEventArgs e
protected internal function OnItemRemoved (
	e : ToolStripItemEventArgs

A ToolStripItemEventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnItemRemoved method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnItemRemoved in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnItemRemoved method so that registered delegates receive the event.
