SystemInformation.DragSize Property

Gets the width and height of a rectangle centered on the point the mouse button was pressed, within which a drag operation will not begin.

Namespace:   System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

Public Shared ReadOnly Property DragSize As Size

Property Value

Type: System.Drawing.Size

A Size that specifies the area of a rectangle, in pixels, centered on the point the mouse button was pressed, within which a drag operation will not begin.

The DragSize property indicates the size, in pixels, of a rectangle centered around the point at which the mouse button was pressed. Windows uses the rectangle as a boundary within which it does not start a drag operation.

A user can hold a mouse button down and move the mouse within this area before a drag operation begins, which enables the user to click and release the mouse button easily without unintentionally starting a drag operation.

The following code example lists all properties of the SystemInformation class in a ListBox and displays the current value of the property in a TextBox when a list item selected.
