MonthCalendar::OnFontChanged Method (EventArgs^)
.NET Framework (current version)
Raises the FontChanged event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
The OnFontChanged method resizes the control based on the new font size. This can cause the calendar to overlap other controls on the form if the potential sizing issues have not been taken into account.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnFontChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnFontChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnFontChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
