ListControl.OnValueMemberChanged Method

Raises the ValueMemberChanged event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

protected virtual void OnValueMemberChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnValueMemberChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected function OnValueMemberChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)

Parameters

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an EventRaising an Event.

The OnValueMemberChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnValueMemberChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnValueMemberChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
