Gets or sets the format-specifier characters that indicate how a value is to be displayed.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The string of format-specifier characters that indicates how a value is to be displayed.

The format string used must follow standard .NET Framework format specifications. For more information, see Formatting Types.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1
