Form.OnMenuStart Method

Raises the MenuStart event.

[Visual Basic]
Protected Overridable Sub OnMenuStart( _
   ByVal e As EventArgs _
protected virtual void OnMenuStart(
 EventArgs e
protected: virtual void OnMenuStart(
 EventArgs* e
protected function OnMenuStart(
   e : EventArgs

The EventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnMenuStart method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:  When overriding OnMenuStart in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnMenuStart method so that registered delegates receive the event.
