Form.MenuComplete Event
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)
public: event EventHandler^ MenuComplete { void add (EventHandler^ value); void remove (EventHandler^ value); }
/** @event */ public void add_MenuComplete (EventHandler value) /** @event */ public void remove_MenuComplete (EventHandler value)
In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.
This event is raised when you click on any menu item in a menu that results in a command being performed and the menu losing focus. You can use this event to perform tasks such as updating the text of a StatusBar control or enabling and disabling buttons on a ToolBar.
For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.
The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the MenuComplete event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show with System.Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.
To run the example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of type Form named Form1. Then ensure that the event handler is associated with the MenuComplete event.
