DrawListViewSubItemEventArgs::SubItem Property
Gets the ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem to draw.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
public: property ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem^ SubItem { ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem^ get(); }
Property Value
Type: System.Windows.Forms::ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem^The ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem to draw.
This method is useful when the other DrawListViewSubItemEventArgs properties do not provide adequate information to meet your needs. The SubItem property allows you to access all members of the ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem being drawn. You must access this object directly, for example, to draw the ListViewItem::ListViewSubItem::Text value yourself rather than using the DrawText method.
The following code example demonstrates how to use the SubItem property in an application that provides custom drawing for a ListView control. In the example, a handler for the ListView::DrawSubItem event draws the subitem text values and both the text and background for subitems that have negative values.
For the complete example, see the DrawListViewSubItemEventArgs overview reference topic.
