DataGridViewTopLeftHeaderCell.GetErrorIconBounds Method

Returns the bounding rectangle that encloses the cell's error icon, if one is displayed.

Parameters

graphics
Type: System.Drawing.Graphics
The graphics context for the cell.
cellStyle
Type: System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellStyle
The DataGridViewCellStyle to be applied to the cell.
rowIndex
Type: System.Int32
The index of the cell's parent row.

Return Value

Type: System.Drawing.Rectangle
The Rectangle that bounds the cell's error icon, if one is displayed; otherwise, Empty.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentOutOfRangeException

rowIndex does not equal -1.

The size of the cell's error icon area is computed dynamically when this method is called.

This method is called internally when the ErrorIconBounds property is read.
