DataGridViewComboBoxColumn.DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly Property

Definition

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the DisplayStyle property value applies only to the current cell in the DataGridView control when the current cell is in this column.

public:
 property bool DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly { bool get(); void set(bool value); };
public bool DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly { get; set; }
member this.DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly : bool with get, set
Public Property DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly As Boolean

Property Value

true if the display style applies only to the current cell; otherwise false. The default is false.

Exceptions

The value of the CellTemplate property is null.

Remarks

If the DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly property value is false, the DisplayStyle property affects all cells in the column; otherwise, the DisplayStyle property affects only the current cell.

The DisplayStyle property affects the appearance of cells in the column when they are not in edit mode, and regardless of whether they are read-only. When a cell is in edit mode, it always looks like a ComboBox control.

Getting or setting this property gets or sets the DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly property of the object returned by the CellTemplate property. Setting this property also sets the DisplayStyleForCurrentCellOnly property of every cell in the column and refreshes the column display. To override the specified value for individual cells, set the cell values after you set the column value.
