DataGridViewColumnDesignTimeVisibleAttribute Class

Specifies whether a column type is visible in the DataGridView designer. This class cannot be inherited.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

public sealed class DataGridViewColumnDesignTimeVisibleAttribute : Attribute

By default, types derived from DataGridViewColumn appear in DataGridView control-specific parts of the Visual Studio designer, but inherit a DesignTimeVisibleAttribute of No to prevent them from appearing in other parts of the designer. This is necessary because the DataGridViewColumn type implements the IComponent interface, which normally makes an instance of the type appear in the designer.

Use this attribute to prevent a DataGridViewColumn type from appearing in the DataGridView control-specific designer.

For more information about using attributes, see Extending Metadata Using Attributes.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
