DataGridViewCellPaintingEventHandler Delegate
Represents the method that will handle the CellPainting event of a DataGridView.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
public delegate void DataGridViewCellPaintingEventHandler( Object^ sender, DataGridViewCellPaintingEventArgs^ e )
Parameters
- sender
-
Type:
System::Object^
The source of the event.
- e
-
Type:
System.Windows.Forms::DataGridViewCellPaintingEventArgs^
A DataGridViewCellPaintingEventArgs that contains the event data.
When you create a DataGridViewCellPaintingEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see NIB: Events and Delegates.
The following example illustrates the use of this event to customize the appearance of all cells in a particular column.
This code is part of a larger example available in How to: Customize the Appearance of Cells in the Windows Forms DataGridView Control.
