Definition

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the cell value has been successfully formatted.

public:
 property bool FormattingApplied { bool get(); void set(bool value); };
public bool FormattingApplied { get; set; }
member this.FormattingApplied : bool with get, set
Public Property FormattingApplied As Boolean

Property Value

true if the formatting for the cell value has been handled; otherwise, false. The default value is false.

Examples

The following code example sets the FormattingApplied property to true to signal that formatting for this cell is finished.

Remarks

When handling the CellFormatting event, set the FormattingApplied property to true after setting the Value property if no further value formatting is required. If the FormattingApplied property value is false when the event handler exits, the formatting will be applied to the value as indicated by the Format, FormatProvider, NullValue, and DataSourceNullValue properties of the DataGridViewCellStyle object returned by the CellStyle property.
