DataGridViewCell.GetErrorIconBounds Method

Returns the bounding rectangle that encloses the cell's error icon, if one is displayed.

Parameters

graphics
Type: System.Drawing.Graphics

The graphics context for the cell.

cellStyle
Type: System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellStyle

The DataGridViewCellStyle to be applied to the cell.

rowIndex
Type: System.Int32

The index of the cell's parent row.

Return Value

Type: System.Drawing.Rectangle
The Rectangle that bounds the cell's error icon, if one is displayed; otherwise, Empty.

The size of the cell's error icon area is computed dynamically when this method is called. The base class implementation always returns Rectangle.Empty.

This method is called internally when the ErrorIconBounds property is read.
