DataGridView::OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged Method (DataGridViewColumnEventArgs^)

Namespace:   System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

protected:
virtual void OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged(
	DataGridViewColumnEventArgs^ e
)

Parameters

e
Type: System.Windows.Forms::DataGridViewColumnEventArgs^

A DataGridViewColumnEventArgs that contains the event data.

Exception Condition
ArgumentException

The column indicated by the Column property of e does not belong to this DataGridView control.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.

The OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnColumnContextMenuStripChangedmethod so that registered delegates receive the event.
