DataGridView.OnCellMouseMove Method (DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs)

Raises the CellMouseMove event.

Namespace:   System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

abstract OnCellMouseMove :
        e:DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs -> unit
override OnCellMouseMove :
        e:DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs -> unit

Exception Condition

The value of the ColumnIndex property of e is greater than the number of columns in the control minus one.

The value of the RowIndex property of e is greater than the number of rows in the control minus one.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.

The OnCellMouseMove method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When overriding OnCellMouseMove in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnCellMouseMove method so that registered delegates receive the event.
