DataGridView.OnCellMouseLeave Method

Raises the CellMouseLeave event.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)

abstract OnCellMouseLeave :
        e:DataGridViewCellEventArgs -> unit
override OnCellMouseLeave :
        e:DataGridViewCellEventArgs -> unit

Parameters

e
Type: System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellEventArgs

A DataGridViewCellEventArgs that contains the event data.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The value of the ColumnIndex property of e is greater than the number of columns in the control minus one.

-or-

The value of the RowIndex property of e is greater than the number of rows in the control minus one.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnCellMouseLeave method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnCellMouseLeave in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnCellMouseLeave method so that registered delegates receive the event.
