DataGrid.GridLineColor Property

Gets or sets the color of the grid lines.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms

public Color GridLineColor { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Drawing.Color
A Color that represents the color of the grid lines. The default is the system color for controls (Control).

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

The value is not set.

No grid line is displayed if the GridLineStyle property is set to DataGridLineStyle.None.

The following code example sets the color of the grid's lines using a value passed to the method.


private void SetGridLineColor
(DataGrid myGrid, System.Drawing.Color newcolor)
{
   myGrid.GridLineColor = newcolor;
}
