Control.OnSystemColorsChanged Method

Raises the SystemColorsChanged event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

'Declaration
Protected Overridable Sub OnSystemColorsChanged ( _
	e As EventArgs _
)
'Usage
Dim e As EventArgs

Me.OnSystemColorsChanged(e)
protected void OnSystemColorsChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected function OnSystemColorsChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)

Parameters

e

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnSystemColorsChanged method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnSystemColorsChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnSystemColorsChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
