Control::OnQueryContinueDrag Method (QueryContinueDragEventArgs^)
Raises the QueryContinueDrag event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Parameters
- qcdevent
-
Type:
System.Windows.Forms::QueryContinueDragEventArgs^
A QueryContinueDragEventArgs that contains the event data.
After dragging has begun, this method is called repeatedly by the .NET Framework until the drag operation is either canceled or completed.
Note |
|---|
Override this method if you want to change the point at which dragging is canceled or at which a drop occurs. |
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnQueryContinueDrag method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnQueryContinueDrag in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnQueryContinueDrag method so that registered delegates receive the event.
