Control.OnClick Method (EventArgs)
Raises the Click event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
Themethod also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overridingin a derived class, be sure to call the base class's method so that registered delegates receive the event.
The following code example demonstrates overriding themethod in a derived class. To run the example, paste the following code after a form class, in the same file. Add a textbox of type SingleClickTextBox to the form.
The following code example shows one of the many uses of the Click event and event handler.
