ButtonBase::OnMouseEnter Method (EventArgs^)
This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
Raises the OnMouseEnter event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnMouseEnter method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Note |
|---|
Do not call OnMouseEnter if the button is disabled (this includes call to the base class's OnMouseEnter method when you override OnMouseEnter in a derived class). When disabling the button in an override of OnMouseEnter, call the base class's OnMouseEnter method before disabling the button, or do not call it at all. |
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnMouseEnter in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnMouseEnter method so that registered delegates receive the event.
Available since 1.1
