Gets the active BindingExpression object.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Data
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

public BindingExpressionBase ActiveBindingExpression { get; }
You cannot set this property in XAML.

Property Value

Type: System.Windows.Data.BindingExpressionBase
The active BindingExpression object or null if none is active. Even though the return type is BindingExpressionBase the returned object would only be a BindingExpression object because the PriorityBinding class currently only supports Binding objects.

The binding engine determines which of the BindingExpression objects is the ActiveBindingExpression based on priority. For more information, see PriorityBinding.
