true if the specified item belongs to this view or if there is not filter set on this collection view; otherwise, false.

Unlike the Contains method, this method assumes that the specified item belongs to the underlying collection. This method takes filters into account. Typically, you use this method during collection-changed notifications to determine if the added or removed item requires processing.
