Background Property

TextBlock.Background Property

Gets or sets the Brush used to fill the background of content area.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

public Brush Background { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Windows.Media.Brush
The brush used to fill the background of the content area, or null to not use a background brush. The default is null.

Any Background settings on child elements override this top-level setting.

The following example shows how to set the Background attribute of a TextBlock element.
