true if the contents of the text editing control are read-only to a user; otherwise, the contents of the text editing control can be modified by the user. The default value is false.
This example shows how to configure a TextBox control to not allow user input or modification.
To prevent users from modifying the contents of a TextBox control, set the attribute to true.
The attribute affects user input only; it does not affect text set in the Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) description of a TextBox control, or text set programmatically through the Text property.
The default value of is false.
