MenuItem.OnClick Method

Called when a MenuItem is clicked and raises a Click event.

You cannot use methods in XAML.


 If you subclass MenuItem and fail to call base.OnClick you will not get the following behavior.

  1. Toggling of the IsChecked property.

  2. Focus being set to the menu item.

  3. Automation invoke event.

  4. Click event.
