ListBoxItem.OnLostFocus Method

[ This article is for Windows Phone 8 developers. If you’re developing for Windows 10, see the latest documentation. ]

Provides handling for the LostFocus event.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)

protected override void OnLostFocus(
	RoutedEventArgs e
)

Parameters

e
Type: System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs
The event data.

This implementation updates the appearance of the ListBoxItem when it loses focus.

The OnLostFocus method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnLostFocus in a derived class, make sure to call the base class’s OnLostFocus method so that registered delegates receive the event.
