Gets or sets a value that indicates how rows and cells are selected in the DataGrid.

Property Value
Type: System.Windows.Controls::DataGridSelectionModeOne of the enumeration values that specifies how rows and cells are selected in the DataGrid. The registered default is Extended. For more information about what can influence the value, see DependencyProperty.
The SelectionMode and SelectionUnit properties together define the selection behavior for the DataGrid.
If the selection mode is Extended, the user can select multiple items where the item type is defined by the SelectionUnit property. If the selection mode is Single, the user can only select single items.
