WebPartPersonalization.ShouldResetPersonalizationState Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the personalization data of the current page has been reset (for example, a request was made to delete the personalization data from the underlying data store).

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected:
property bool ShouldResetPersonalizationState {
	bool get ();
	void set (bool value);
}
/** @property */
protected boolean get_ShouldResetPersonalizationState ()

/** @property */
protected void set_ShouldResetPersonalizationState (boolean value)

protected function get ShouldResetPersonalizationState () : boolean

protected function set ShouldResetPersonalizationState (value : boolean)

Not applicable.

Property Value

true if the personalization state for the current page has been reset; otherwise, false.

If this property is set to true, it indicates that the personalization state for the current page has been reset and that extraction of personalization data from controls and subsequent save operations should be skipped. Currently, this property is automatically set to true by the personalization infrastructure if the ResetPersonalizationState method is called.

Note that although there are no restrictions on when this property can be set, the property must be set to true prior to the WebPartManager control's SaveStateComplete event to have any effect.
