protected void OnWebPartAdding ( WebPartAddingEventArgs e )
protected function OnWebPartAdding ( e : WebPartAddingEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
A WebPartAddingEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnWebPartAdding method raises the WebPartAdding event to indicate that a control is in the process of being added. The method also provides the option to cancel the adding process. If the control is successfully added, the WebPartAdded event follows.
Page developers can provide a custom handler for the associated event by adding the OnWebPartAdding attribute to the <asp:webpartmanager> element on a Web page, and then assigning a custom method name to the attribute.
Notes to Inheritors: Developers who create derived WebPartManager classes can override the OnWebPartAdding method to customize the event handling.Windows 98, Windows Server 2000 SP4, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Starter Edition
The Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 is supported on Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows XP SP2, and Windows Server 2003 SP1.Community Additions
