PersonalizationProvider::ResetPersonalizationState Method

Resets personalization data to the underlying data store.

Parameters

webPartManager
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts::WebPartManager
The WebPartManager managing the personalization data.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

webPartManager is nullptr.

ArgumentException

webPartManager is not associated with a page.

- or -

The page is not associated with an in-progress HttpRequest.

This method is the main entry point used by the WebPartPersonalization class to reset personalization data. The default implementation uses the WebPartManager control to determine the path and user name for the data to be reset. The default implementation then calls the ResetPersonalizationBlob method.
