TreeNodeStyle.HorizontalPadding Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets or sets the amount of space to the left and right of the text in the node.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

public:
property Unit HorizontalPadding {
	Unit get ();
	void set (Unit value);
}
/** @property */
public Unit get_HorizontalPadding ()

/** @property */
public void set_HorizontalPadding (Unit value)

public function get HorizontalPadding () : Unit

public function set HorizontalPadding (value : Unit)

Property Value

The amount of space, in pixels, that is to the left and right of the node's text. The default is 0 pixels.

Use the HorizontalPadding property to control the amount of horizontal space around the text of the node to which the TreeNodeStyle is applied. This space is inserted between the left edge of the text and the border of the text area, as well as between the right edge of the text and the border for the text. To control the vertical spacing, use the VerticalPadding property.

The value of this property is stored in view state.

The following code example demonstrates how to use the HorizontalPadding property to control the horizontal space around the text of a node.
