TreeNode::Selected Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the node is selected.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public:
property bool Selected {
	bool get ();
	void set (bool value);
}

Property Value

Type: System::Boolean
true if the node is selected; otherwise, false. The default is false.

Use the Selected property to specify or determine whether the node is selected.

NoteNote:

Although the property can be used to determine whether the node is selected, it is more common to use the SelectedNode property.

Only one node can be selected at a time in the TreeView control when using this property.

NoteNote:

As an alternative, you can also select the node by using the Select method.

The value of this property is stored in view state.

The following code example demonstrates how to use the Selected property to select a node in the TreeView control.
