TemplateField.ValidateSupportsCallback Method

Determines whether the controls contained in a TemplateField object support page callbacks.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public override void ValidateSupportsCallback()

ExceptionCondition
NotSupportedException

The default implementation of this method is called.

The ValidateSupportsCallback method is not supported for this class and always throws a NotSupportedException exception.

Notes to Inheritors:

Classes that derive from the TemplateField class can override this method to indicate whether the controls contained by the field support callbacks. To indicate that callbacks are supported, implement this method as an empty method that does not throw an exception; otherwise, throw an exception with a useful message describing why callbacks are not supported.
