Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected public:
virtual void RaiseUnsupportedCapabilityError (
	DataSourceCapabilities capability
) override
protected void RaiseUnsupportedCapabilityError (
	DataSourceCapabilities capability
)
protected internal override function RaiseUnsupportedCapabilityError (
	capability : DataSourceCapabilities
)

Parameters

capability

One of the DataSourceCapabilities values that is compared against the capabilities that the view supports.

The RaiseUnsupportedCapabilityError method is used by the data source view to examine each of the capabilities that are requested by a data-bound control, which is represented by the DataSourceSelectArguments object that is passed to the Select method, and to compare those capabilities to the capabilities that are supported by the data source view. For the capabilities that are represented by the DataSourceSelectArguments object and are not supported by the data source view, a NotSupportedException exception is raised.
