RepeaterItemEventHandler Delegate

Represents the method that will handle the ItemCreated and ItemDataBound events of a Repeater.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

type RepeaterItemEventHandler =
    delegate of
        sender:Object *
        e:RepeaterItemEventArgs -> unit

Parameters

sender
Type: System.Object

The source of the event.

e
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.RepeaterItemEventArgs

A RepeaterItemEventArgs that contains the event data.

When you create a RepeaterItemEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see NIB: Events and Delegates.

For more information about handling events, see NIB: Consuming Events.

The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the ItemCreated event of the Repeater. A new line of text indicating the item type is displayed whenever a Repeater item is created.
