ASP.NET provides an input request validation feature to block script and HTML in user input. Validation server controls are also provided to assess user input. For more information, see Validation Server Controls.

Example

[Visual Basic, C#] The following example demonstrates how to create a template to control how separators between items are displayed.

<html>
 <head>
    <script language="VB" runat="server">

        Sub Page_Load(Sender As Object, e As EventArgs)

            If Not IsPostBack Then
                Dim values As New ArrayList()

                values.Add("Apple")
                values.Add("Orange")

                values.Add("Grape")

                Repeater1.DataSource = values
                Repeater1.DataBind()
            End If
        End Sub
