Repeater.OnItemCreated Method

Raises the ItemCreated event.

[Visual Basic]
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemCreated( _
   ByVal e As RepeaterItemEventArgs _
)
[C#]
protected virtual void OnItemCreated(
 RepeaterItemEventArgs e
);
[C++]
protected: virtual void OnItemCreated(
 RepeaterItemEventArgs* e
);
[JScript]
protected function OnItemCreated(
   e : RepeaterItemEventArgs
);

Parameters

e
The RepeaterItemEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

Notes to Inheritors:  When overriding OnItemCreated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemCreated method.

Example

[Visual Basic, C#] The following example illustrates a way to handle the ItemCreated event of the Repeater. A new line of text indicating the item type is displayed whenever a Repeater item is created.
