Repeater.ItemCommand Event

Occurs when a button is clicked in the Repeater control.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

'Declaration
Public Event ItemCommand As RepeaterCommandEventHandler
'Usage
Dim instance As Repeater
Dim handler As RepeaterCommandEventHandler

AddHandler instance.ItemCommand, handler

/** @event */
public void add_ItemCommand (RepeaterCommandEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_ItemCommand (RepeaterCommandEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

This event is raised when a button in the Repeater control is clicked.

This event causes a round-trip from the client to occur.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the ItemCommand event of the Repeater control. Information about the button is displayed when a Button control within the Repeater control is clicked.
